Aerial Artist Inspo: Una Edition

Hey fellow #circuseverydamnday'ers and welcome back :0 It's Friday, which means it's time for new content and some circus inspo to get you ready for the weekend! For this week, I wanted to take a moment and give a shout out to an aerialists who just Gives Me Life! She is quirky, extremely talented, and- the- smooth- 45- seconds- that- my- nobody- ass- met- her- this- one- time-at - Versatile Arts, she was very cool. Who is she? The curly headed rope queen, Una Bennett!

Urban legend reads that Una is originally from Seattle, who started aerial at the tender age of YOUTH. She began training at Versatile Arts with her brother, Ezra, before following in his foot steps to study at the insanely reputable Ecole Nationale De Cirq, which as us circus amatears refer to as the Harvard for Circus Superheros. While at the H.C.S. aka ENC, Una has been crushing it, creating a new standard for fluidity and grace while doing badass rope and tragic hair flips. This white girl's got some soul.*

She's literally holding herself up in an overspilt and one handed hold... Just to let ya'll know...

Feeling inspired?

Feel free to follow Una on instagram @Unabennett (Simple, right?) and send some love. I personally, don't know if there is anything braver and awesome than being a professional performer, so please support your local artists.

Also, feel free to follow the newly created instagram at Cirque Du Twerk. Currently it's mostly photos of my butt, because I'm not feeling 100% BUT, feel free to tag yourself while training, partying, playing and arting so I can share it.

Until next time,

-Dana
